The Quebec Family History Society is operated by volunteers and without people such as librarians, seminar leaders, roadshow participants, typists, committee heads, etc. the society we all enjoy would come to a screeching halt. If an army marches on its stomach, the QFHS marches on its volunteers. These people donate their time so that the Quebec Family History Society can serve genealogists in the Montreal area, as well as those in Quebec, in Canada, and throughout the world.
Some spend a few hours a year and others provide hundreds of hours every year towards the operation of the society.
From time to time, we have need extra help over and above that listed on the volunteer portion in the membership application form. This page will let you know how you can help your society. For more information, please contact the society.
Check back regularly for new additions.

Continuing needs:
Photocopier help:
We have a special project going that requires copying pages for a hour or two a week,
in our ofice. Please contact Joan at the society office,
who will be happy to explain what is required.
Filing:
We also need a volunteer to help with some short-term office help such as filing
and shredding for a couple of weeks at the society office. This should take a couple
of hours per week, either all at once or over a few days. Again, please contact Joan.
On-going:
The roadshow would like to find a few more people
to help out with events in the Ottawa area, especially anyone who can be at the show for two days.
If you are interested, please fill out the membership info
form and send it via the internet, or regular mail, to the society.
