Minimum: 3 hours

1. Send an email to qfhs.membership@bellnet.ca, detailing your research request; the more details you can supply the better.
Then, please click here to pay by credit card via PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account).
2. Write out your research request, as detailed as possible, and mail it along with a cheque in Canadian or U.S. currency, to our office address:

Owing to erratic postal service, it is advisable to then email us at qfhs.membership@bellnet.ca to advise us that the request is in the mail.
To search for a vital record in Quebec, such as birth, marriage or death, please specify the religion, e.g., Catholic, Protestant, Jewish.
Research requests are usually completed within eight-weeks. Some queries require in-depth research.

Professional research
For extensive research help, you may wish to contract the services of a professional researcher who is willing to conduct research in archival centres outside our library. All arrangements must be made directly with the researcher. QFHS does not guarantee the researcher's qualifications or search results.
